Foxtrot delivers issue-based Theatre-In-Education tours to both primary and secondary schools. We have an established reputation for high quality school related work in the East of Scotland and work closely with schools and local authorities to ensure that our material can be fully integrated into the curriculum.

Our packages are issue-based, linking directly to personal and social development and to date, have dealt with bullying, HIV & AIDS and alcohol and drugs. Tours can comprise of performances, interactive theatre and workshop elements and aim to develop communication and problem-solving skills through the stimulation and enjoyment of drama.

This primary school anti-bullying project, toured North-east Scotland between 1999 and 2001, and was noted with commendation by the Educational Institute of Scotland. A drama Teacher's Pack designed for anti-bullying work with P6/7 children is available for purchase.

"The Gift" / "Are You Up For It"?

A specially written play "The Gift" about HIV & AIDS, toured secondary schools in Tayside between 1993 and 1997. On commission by Tayside Health Board, a follow-up performance workshop for S3-S6 then toured East Scotland in 1999 in conjunction with World AIDS Day.
